Learn more about VB-MAPP from it's creator: Click Here
The VB-MAPP is a criterion-referenced assessment tool, curriculum guide, and skill tracking system based on B.F. Skinner’s (1957) analysis of verbal behavior, established developmental milestones, and research from the field of behavior analysis. The VB-MAPP, which was created by Mark L. Sundberg, Ph.D., BCBA-D, is designed for children with autism, and other individuals who demonstrate language delays. A lot of ABA agencies and those that assess clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities may use VB-MAPP to gain a clear picture of the client’s strengths and potential barriers to language and learning.
Below are examples of what may be included in a VB-MAPP assessment kit. Please note that materials may be changed as each individual client has varying levels of strengths and interests.
